Cyclocross Magazine

Cyclocross Community, Forums, Classifieds, Photos and Videos

Many of you may know that I lost many a finger over the fall and winter striving to bring you the most in depth coverage of major American races across the North East (and at nationals). Well, now we're going the extra mile (or 3,672 miles if you're me) to bring you live coverage from the World Championships in Hoogerheide, The Netherlands.

This fine program will be presented by Cyclocrossworld.com! We'll be kicking off programming on Saturday, January 31 at 6:30 EST with the Junior Race, where a strong US force is ready to shock the world. Coverage will continue with the Espoirs Race, featuring an equally fearsome lineup of riders.

After a brief respite, we'll pick things up again at 6:30 EST Sunday, February 1, with the Elite Women's race, where Katie Compton, Georgia Gould, Rachel Lloyd, Sue Butler and Laura Van Gilder will square off against the world's best and bring home as many medals our country can get its hands on. Finally, the Elite men will take the stage, led by US Champion Ryan Trebon, to prove that the United States is as fast as it is handsome.

As if that's not enough reason to show up, former American Champion, Worlds medalist, and really fast cyclocross racer Tim Johnson of the Cannondale-Cyclocross world team will take some time out of his busy training schedule (consisting of hauling Floyd Landis every which way) to answer your questions about worlds, cyclocross, and all things pertinent (or not).

Be there or b^2! Watch the homesite for more updates!
