Question for those of you in the Carlisle/Harrisburg PA area r.e. Iron Cross
A teammate of mine and I are planning on traveling to the IC this weekend.
The weather looks pretty bad with rain both Sat and Sunday as well as rain
the four out of the next five days. What are you current trail conditions?
Mud? Just damp? Dry?
For those of you that have done the Iron Cross before in the rain,
how much additional walking was there due to unridable conditions?
What was your time?
We just raced 5-6 hrs in the rain and mud in VT last weekend. As such,we are
uncertain about repeating the experience one week later.
