rolled Grifo Tubular - can it be cleaned and remounted?
I rolled the tubular off the front wheel racing today. Is it possible to clean the tire and rim and remount? I know how to prep the rim, any advice on cleaning the tire.

Yup. Clean the rim of excess glue as well and have at it.
You figure out why it rolled?

first time I cleaned the rim, I use the GooGone gel (rookie mistake) but I expect that some got in the spoke holes and leaked back out once the tire was glued on the first time. This would have weakened the glue and then a good hard crash took care of the rest.
remounted and raced it this weekend, and it worked great.
