Anyone know what is going on with Sanne Van Passen?  I saw somewhere that she has a leg injury, but no other detail.  Is she out for the whole cross season?

I did see something in the Dutch News that Sanne Van Passen was having leg pain issues.

"Especially the left leg is very painful when I really need to turn," says Van Paasen. "In fact, doctors have two problems established. I have a kink in the femoral artery and cysts on both knees. What causes the pain, it is not yet certain. If surgery is necessary, I will not hesitate to go under the knife, but I want to know for sure whether therefore the symptoms have disappeared."

I does sound like Van Passen is still hopeful to go to the World Cup in Hoogerheide in February as an MRI scan, performed in the Gelderland Valley Hospital in Ede in late November, came back with positive results. But with time running out to prepare, that may not be a possibility.

"I've had so much pain,” said Van Passen. “Therefore my health is the most important thing. If it is good then I might go to the World Cup but myself cram in two months while I was not completely top, it is difficult."
