AARRRRGGGHH! Yet again, it appears that cycling.tv has screwed the pooch and is not covering the world cup races for viewers in the US.

Any legal (and not-so-much ones welcomed if you contact me directly) options available for live and on-demand viewing? Is Universal Sports (either online or TV) going to offer coverage? I can't get a clear yes/no from their website, but that could be operator error on my part.

I really don't want to get up at 3am to watch a race on Belgian websites when I myself will probably be racing later that morning.

I've got the same question. I finally found Universal Sports in my cable line-up and I'm hoping for some 'cross.
Universal Sports ran last year's Worlds *many* weeks after the race was done. I only found it because my mythtv automagically hunts for cycling shows to record. My guess is they will do the same if they got a decent views/advert revenue out of what they did last year.

Cross broadcasts appear to be geo-restricted in the worst ways, so there isn't a legal option for you in the U.S.

I wonder if it is the UCI holding out for decent revenue for the American broadcast rights. Thus setting up the chicken-egg problem.
