Just got off the phone with Michael from Swamp Thing - things are a "go" but just have been hectic lately.

Standings will be updated as soon as I get converged results from the Lake Orion C- and B- fields!
Remember the SoA series will wrap up with a SANDY (and snowy?) race in Midland on December 9!
Comment by Surly Bastard on November 12, 2012 at 3:37pm Stomach of Anger/Swamp Thing II this weekend? I haven't heard a peep. Somebody asked me today about updates because they couldn't find any.
Big weekend coming up for Michigan 'cross...
Tailwind is hosting the next Stomach of Anger race on SATURDAY at Lake Orion High School! Sunday is the second day of the Tailwind double header (but only Saturday's race is in the SoA series).

Comment by Patrick McEnaney on October 17, 2012 at 8:45am I concur w.r.t. Kensington; I could only make it out for day 1. Since sleep and training have both been a challenge to come by, I'm only entering my second race this weekend at Mad Anthony. I'm stoked to get over to Ft. Wayne as I missed out last year. Racing with the masters B group was fun and a more realistic field for me.
Comment by Tom Payn on October 15, 2012 at 1:13pm Ok... so we the CX season is more than under way?! What does everyone think?
Racing seems to have been pretty good in the Tailwind series.
Kensington about killed me, but Lower Huron was awesome!
Comment by Chris Schmidt on October 9, 2012 at 12:40pm The fifth annual Keweenaw Cup is on for Oct. 20 & 21 in Copper Harbor. Two days of racing, music, and mayhem. Details at http://www.keweenawcup.com

Next up is Mad Anthony on 10/20 followed by Tailwind's LOHS Saturday race on 10/27!

I didn't have a problem with having the B's as one group. Like I said before, 40 or 50 guys isn't out of the norm for a CX race. I think that Bryan is trying to allure more people by having smaller classes.
Passing people adds to the challenge when starting behind the 39 under.
