I'd say go with it, who cares if it looks over roadie to some.  Pimp it out and have fun!  Personally I'd go with white cable housings for the contrast on the orange frame, but I'm not exactly known for my fashion prowess so take my advice with a grain of salt

Here is my new "A" bike for this year. A lightly ridden 2010 Giant TCX small. The rest of the build is a Campy record rear der (yes, overkill, but I got it cheap), Bell-lap bars, CX9 brakes (mini-Vs), Jagwire Ripcord sealed cabling...braided orange, and....white bar tape. Also thinking of using white for the housing loop to the rear der, and for the brakes. Yes, way over roadie, but this is my only season this year (such as it may be), so I need to look really good even though I'll be really slow. Any opinions?
