Ready for an new year, new goals and new gear! Time to shape up.

It’s been about a month since I was able to remove my boot. Things are really turning up, I have been able to ride more which is really great. I’ve lost ten pounds by healthy eating and exercise, I have upgraded my gruppo and have some confidence on the bike. Next month I plan on doing a Mtb. Race and in March my first ever time trial. These are just a few small steps to get me in shape for ‘cross season…yes I am planning now. I still have about…well, a lot of weight to loose, but now more than ever I am focused. My goal is to be about 200lbs. and build my endurance by ‘cross season. Looking forward to some clinics as well, I've always "practiced" on my own but it will be nice to get actual coaching.

Go Katie & Jonathan!!!

Good luck, I'm sure you will manage it.

I got down from about 220lb to about 187lb during my first cross season..and now after my second I'm about ~155lb so I hope that encourages you! :-)

Cheers,
Steve

Fantastic news! I REALLY hope to meet you at a Portland race this year. Preferably one we're both racing at.
Consider coming down for a short-track xc race at PIR this summer...
