I'm preparing to begin a new bike build. The frame in my avatar is way too big. I'm going with a 56cm Bianchi Axis with a All City Nature Boy fork. This build will begin life as a single speed. Cranks are 165 RD2 Sugino Messenger with a 39T…Continue

Ok so this week i began seriously riding the trainer again and it started out rough but by tuesday i was having a better time and riding longer. So i thought i'd hold a non scientific poll and see how others feel about riding the turbo trainer.

Well about that...Not yet BUT I am doing a clinic next Wed and racing tentatively the 27th...I have a suitcase full of excuses sadly. Sounds like you have had a pretty successful season so far...

surely you fatties are racing too?  how's it going?  in one local series, i've finished 9th, 5th, 4th and 3rd this past weekend.  i think i'm in 2nd or 3rd in the overall points for my class.  racing the bay area super prestige this weekend which will surely be the largest field i've raced in.  the cap is 100.

ran to a 5th place finish in this past weekends race.  broke my rear der in half and got the pulleys stuck in the wheel.  clyde power!  shouldered it the last half of the last lap.  new rear der en route, picking up new der hangers today from Santa Cruz MTB...gonna take the 105 rear der off my roubaix to fix the CX in the interim.

yea CCCX is offering up a C 35+ class this season...at least so far.  the Santa Cruz races will be up around 30+ for the C class.

Way to go, that's how it should be...Top 10 finish!  I'm blown away that there were only 14 in your C race plenty of room to race.  As for me my first race, tentatively is coming up this Sunday.  It's been a busy month so far...

anyone race yet?  did my first race of the season (3rd ever) this past saturday.  it was a comedy of errors.  hit the deck a few times.  got poison oak like you wouldn't believe.  still had fun.  finished 9/14 in C.  next race is this saturday.
