I just bought a 2013 Fuji Altimira cx from a friend of mine and the front derailleur hanger is loose. It's riveted on, but the bottom two rivets are coming out. Anyone have this happen? Or have thoughts on how to best address it? Thanks. I'm new to this forum, and to cross for that matter. I really appreciate the help.

Used to have the same problem with specialized aluminum mountain frames. If you don't feel comfortable doing this then you need to find a mechanic who does. The old rivets have deformed and need to be drilled out of the frame and replaced with new ones.

Thanks for the reply. I wouldn't be too concerned about doing it myself if it were an aluminum frame, but since it's carbon, I'm worried about it. The bikes only been ridden for less than a year, which seems like it might be a manufacture issue. Waiting to hear about that. Thanks.

It should go back to the dealer as a warranty issue then

Yep, that's what I thought. So, I sent it back to my friend. Thanks for the input.
