That's funny! Great vid, thanks for sharing. And here I was going to make a wise-ass remark about those carrots and drinking my Leffe after a ride and it turned out to be Duvel! Awesome.

Hello all. I am a bit late to the discussion, but....I plan on racing the Cs again but I will be moving up to 40+. I think I should be pretty competitive at that level and since it will only be my 2nd year of CX I carry no guilt. I also plan on riding the Bs most weeks to gain more experience and get a little more riding in for the usual hour drive minimum to make most races. I'll be trying not to get lapped. The bonus is Tailwinds will get an additional $30 out of me. Have fun and stay safe on Saturday and the plan is to make it out Sunday. JC

Greg: Right now we're riding until dark - so about two hours, or around 30 miles. We don't starting using lights until the time change. We had a big group last night. Just a blast. And beers in the lot and then back at that local country road house for more. Real cross training, ehem!

Surly, I may end up meeting you guys out there next week. How long are the rides normally?

More of what Pat said. I am focusing on Masters this year, and have another trick up my seleve. Or maybe the trick will be on me... I will find out soon. So you guys have no excuses! Get it done in the B's! It will be great, now I have an additional 15 mins every race to heckle all of you, ring the cow bell, and call you dirt names as you are about to puke lap after lap!!! HA ha!

I think you will be seeing a much larger elite field this year.

It's called the Wissink effect! (Also the Jeff W effect, and so on) I'd love to see some bigger Elite fields. Hopefully there will be more challengers this year. Watching competitive racing at the top level is the best. My own sorry racing is just a good excuse to be there.

Right on Surly! Especially about the top B guys moving up to the Elite class! It is frankly boring watchng the A race when you only see the same 5 or 6 guys in the race every time. It would be more fun watching and cheering a larger Elite field.
