What a big weekend for grassroots 'cross racing in Michigan!

Steve Weckle posted on the BIKE RACING IN TRI CITIES blog that the first 60 people at the RED ZONE 'CX race this Sunday will get free SVSU shirts!

Looks like rain is in the forecast!

Thanks Curt. At that point I thought I all I had done is rack myself. Considering that, I'm glad the wound wasn't higher. You guys have fun down in the Ville. Unfortunately I'm working this weekend, so can't do Mad Anthony. M.A. was my first CX race. Like missing my anniversary. JC

Cameron, come down to the Mad Anthony race and between races you can heckle some of the gang-bangers driving by.

Bring your body armor. :)

Cameron - if you're heckling maybe you can borrow the HECKLEHORN from Laura M. Yeah it feels good to heckle. It does. Hope you get well fast.

Jon
Glad to hear you are mostly ok. I saw you pull off after the barriers, and I thought you hurt your wrist.

Hey Everyone,

Hope all of your cross season's are going well, especially since mine is non-existent...

Since I won't be able to use them, I figured I would see if there was any interest in some tubular wheels with tires. The set has Ultegra hubs built 32h 3x into Sun Vista cruiser rims (wider rims for more glue contact area). They also have Challenge Grifo 32's glued to them how Stu Thorne at cyclocrossworld.com recommends (check the website out, it's pretty sweet.) Tires are BRAND NEW no use, and I put some Stan's sealant in them in case of puncture.

I'm hoping to get $250 for the set, let me know if you're interested (email me at marsh283@gmail.com)

Thanks, and I'll probably be at the AA tailwind races heckling all of you

Oh so meaty! Somebody tried to knife me during that race. Guess he got you instead. Tough luck, but it's a long way from the heart. First shot you posted I thought you cut yourself shaving your legs. Like Ossy said, glad you didn't ruin that sweet white kit. You gotta have you priorities straight.

I'm glad the gash won't keep you out of the races Jon! Jane told me all about it, she said it looked really cool...

OMG! That is sweet! Man I am glad your OK. And more importantly, I am really glad you did not soil that sexy white Rouge Racing jersey with your un-worthy blood!

I just reversed ordered your punk ??? cause I's computer illiterate. Anyway, had to pull out of the B race today after 1st lap, managed a 4th place in C +40 race, due to this "mere flesh wound." Wasn't sure what I was dealing with at the time and decided it would be better to let the pro's make a call. Turns out it wasn't as bad as it looks and I should be back in action for the Ann Arbor races. It happened remounting after the second set of barriers and I can not explain it. Fluke. I blame Osgood. As I continue to try and improve at his pace and felt a low rank in the B race would not meet his approval. So I was shooting for a mid pack finish and was off to a good start until this. Of course he finished Barry Roubaix after cutting off his hand and sewing it back on without ever stopping his ride or slowing his pace.

MORE IMPORTANT!!! Spread the word. In our haste to get to the ER, it appears we dropped a Giro glove somewhere in the parking lot. For all you folks connected, spread the word and let's try and save Coleman a few bucks.
