2007 Bianchi Roger SS CX on DT Swiss 540 wheels with White Industries ENO hubs.

Great shape. Some scratches.

The Roger is the cyclocross bike you may not have been expecting: It has only one gear. But wait, it makes sense: You don't have to worry about shifting in the 'cross muck, and when you can't pedal the Roger's 48x17 gear anymore, its lack of derailleurs and extra cogs makes the weight that much easier to shoulder and run with. But wait, it makes sense: You don't have to worry about shifting in the 'cross muck, and when you can't pedal the Roger's 48x17 gear anymore, its lack of derailleurs and extra cogs makes the weight that much easier to shoulder and run with. Away from the race course, the Roger is just plain fun to ride, with disc brakes to keep you in control. Can a single-speed cyclocross bike put you in touch with your inner spinning guru? Roger that.

New smaller Salsa chain ring included.

Bianchi only made this aluminum SS CX bike 1 year. Could be yours for a reasonable offer...

I have an opportunity to look at a used Roger. The bike now has an 8 speed internal hub. I have never encountered an internal hub. Has anyone had experience racing CX with an internal hub? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

I also have the opportunity to purchase the original single speed wheel so I could convert it back to a SS. What are the advantages/disadvantages SS vs. internal 8 speed hub for racing? The bike currently has a flat bar with the shifter on it. I would have to buy the shifter for the drop bar if I wanted the drops back on it.

Has anyone had or heard of any issues with the alignment of the disk calipers on the disk when the rear drive is adjusted for chain tension for SS?

I've got a 55cm 2010 Felt Breed single speed cyclocross bike for sale for $700 shipped and I would prefer to use Paypal unless you want to mail me money. This bike retailed for $949. I bought this from a friend in January who had purchased the bike and then never rode it so he sold it to me. I'm finding I rarely ride it either, so I thought I would test the waters on here. It's probably got 200-300 road miles on it and it has never been ridden off the road. Aside from any test rides,…

It's probably got 200-300 road miles on it and it has never been ridden off the road. Aside from any test rides, the CX tires it comes with have never been ridden. It's pretty close to being just like new, but on the bottom of one of the seat stays there is a small scuff that my friend says was there when he bought it and there is a little mark on the brake that was caused by hooking the cable into it. More info and details can be found at this link:

http://2010.feltracing.com/USA/2010-Product-Catalog/CYCLO-X/CYCLO-X/BREED.aspx

At the link below there is a picture of the bike with the road tires on it. The saddle is slightly darker than normal from a new pair of bib shorts, but I'll be cleaning it off. The cage is not included.
