There big selling point is that theyre cheap. I dont know what full carbon frame you could get from someone like ridley for around $1000. Also frame is claimed at 1400 grams for a medium frame and 450 grams claimed for an uncut fork isn't bad at all. especially on a budget. I'm not pushing representing or selling, like I said, i almost rode them. my .02

twentynineinches.com reviewed their 29er carbon forks with no regrets. I'm interested in their stuff as well. Bikeman.com sold their frames for a while, but don't have them anymore for some reason.

I've seen them on eBay from a company called Outdoor Outfitters or something like that? I asked at a lbs and was told they were heavy and you could get full carbon frame for the same $$ from a reputable name. For whatever that's worth.

The local ultra-hip bike shop (velo cult), which specializes mostly in fixed gear stuff, carries various origin8 components. I think it's all pretty decent quality stuff (I have a origin 8 crankset which has been fine), though I have not seen their frames.

They are a house brand for of a US distributor, J and B I believe. Same factory in Taiwan as a few big name frames (really fun trying to figure out which ones) just different branding. I almost rode them this year because the price was right; they are hard to beat. Hope this helps
