Getting the bike fit right

How do most of you setup your bike for proper fit? Have you ever been professionally fitted? I found a few articles online with tips about setting up your bike:

I was planning on setting up the tripod and video camera and taping myself on the trainer and then work on making the proper adjustments. Anyone every tried that?
