2016 Kona Major Jake cyclocross bike, custom built with a brand new frameset and a few low-mileage parts. Official Kona size is a medium/53cm, but the top tube comes in at 55cm.
Brand new, zero miles: full carbon frame and fork, Cane Creek headset, FSA bottom bracket, Ritchey Pro EvoCurve bars, Thomson Elite seatpost, Shimano XT 11-34t cassette, KMC chain, Sram XO 10sp clutched rear derailleur, Lizard Skins DSP bar wrap
About 400 miles: DT Swiss R23 DB wheelset, Rotor 3D crank 175mm arms, Rotor 44t n/w ring, Sram Red shifters, TRP HyRd disc brakes, Shimano IceTech 160mm rotors, Zipp Service Course SL stem, Fizik Aliante VS saddle, Gatorskin 28c road tires, compression-less housings, cables
As you see it in the pics it comes in at a hair over 16.5lbs with the Gatorskins and tubes. The wheels are tubeless ready and both front and rear are setup with DT Swiss RWS thru-bolts for superior stiffness and security. The frame has two bottle mounts and rear rack mounts in case you want to do more than cross with it. It is setup as a 1x10 speed, but the left shifter is unmodified, so you can add a front derailleur if you would like.
There are a bunch of spacers on the steer tube, so plenty of room for adjustment. The Cane Creek headset top cap is a low one for your stem slamming pleasure.
Thanks to the orange paint it goes extra fast. Science has proven it.
It will be packed professionally by my local shop. I would like to keep the saddle if you don't mind.
Price dropped to $2275 obo
