Mike Muse said, 'This bike's name is Don Juan. The green is for the money and the gold is for the ladies'. The rest is history.
Setup as road bike for most of its life, now featuring TUFO Tubular Clinchers (not shown): IRD Interloc cross frame in heinous green, 9-speed Ultegra shifters derr. hubs, Mavic Open Pro rims, Thomson seatpost (my favorite bike brand), Ritchey stem/bar, IRD headset (another brand fav. in my signature blue), sexy FSA crank, some 35g water bottle cages in titanium. No saddle. No computers. No pedals.
Cable stop matching headset blue was a lucky find at Bikes Not Bombs (Boston, MA). Had retro Tektro heinous green matching brake calipers, but they are gone. :\ Trying to put on a pair of Cane Creek's - got one set, need another.
I built this in 2002 while working at Harborside Cycles in Gloucester, MA. Yes, I was on a roll.
Interloc is no longer making frames and thus this is now a collector's item.
