<p>Danny, we've been racing cx on AC 38's and 58's for the past 2 seasons, easily 60+ races at this point. We've had no problems at all. I'm slightly lighter than you at ~160lbs, but ride like a bag of rocks at times. Haven't had to true them yet. $600 is a great deal, I'd jump on it.</p>

<p>Do be honest, I'd spend an extra bit of money and buy Boyd 38mm wheels. They're cross specific (wider) and you get a full warranty.</p>
