Buffalo/Western New York cross scene?
Anybody know if there's a cross scene in Buffalo NY area - and how I could get hooked into it?
I'd like to find somebody to show me the ropes and give ideas on where to train?
I'm a dedicated (slightly deranged) roadie looking to branch out. I bought a single speed cross bike for winter training this year - fell in love with it - now would like to ride in in Paris-to-Ancaster next month.

There is a scene there, but seasonal as far as I know. East of you in the Hudson Valley there is a lot. But, everyone is racing MTB or road right now. Check the forums here at CXMag to see if there is any recent chatter.
