I rode disc CX for the last year and recently switched to mini-Vs.<br />

They are both capable and will do a great job. I ride very sandy and muddy courses in Seattle and mini-Vs worked great in both.<br />

Ride what you prefer; it's really a subjective preference issue. There's not a huge practical difference.<br />

I prefer the easy maintenance of mini-Vs and I'm using them on the new custom CX frame I'm building up.
