<p>Also consider that you run the risk of cracking the bead seat of a carbon rim if you run too low of pressure and bottom out on a rock or something - rendering the rim useless. I've been running some Hutchinson Bulldogs tubeless for a few months now on some Mavic Open Pro CD rims and must admit that tubeless is the way to go (at least for me) and I'll never run a tube again, but only on non-carbon rims. </p>

<p>It's all about what tire you use. I'm going to give the vittoria tubeless a shot. If you use a non-tubeless tire you'll be able to get it working but you'll end up having issues if you push the pressure into really low territory.</p>
