Carl Strong medium Monstercross/Cyclocross/Commuter Frameset

Custom 55cm steel frame and unicrown fork built in 2008 by Carl Strong (http://www.strongframes.com/frames_&...untain/frames/). Powder coat by Spectrum.  Please note that the wheels, tires, headset and stem shown in the pics are for your visual information only, and are not included in this sale. 

This is truly a do everything frameset. Has fender/rack eyelets, 135mm rear spacing, I.S. disc tabs (disc only), and braze ons for 2 water bottles. Pictures show clearance with Hutchinson 34mm tires installed. There is a ton of clearance in the rear, and about 5/8" min at the top of the tire in front.  Frame weight is 1960 gms (4 lbs 5 oz), and fork is 760 gms (1 lb 11 oz). It has a 74 degree seat tube, 72 head tube, and 55 cm c-c effective top tube. Email me for the complete spec sheet.

Frame has seen only one season of light commuting, and is in very nice overall shape. The only exception is a bit of surface rust on one of the cable saddles on the bottom of the top tube, which would be easy to touch up.

Strong framesets go for over $2100 new; $500 for the fork alone. I'm asking $800 or best reasonable offer for the frame and fork. Local pickup in CT with cash payment is welcome and preferred; otherwise, payment by PayPal only with insured shipping extra.
