Newbie needs advice re. changing a chainring. I have a OnOne Pickenflick and would like to get a slightly lower gear for some vicious hills I have to ride. (yep I am losing weight and training harder etc!!)

It is currently set up with a 11 speed Sram Rival 22 46/36t and 11-32 cassette. Could I change out the 36t chainring for a 34t without affecting the setup too much? ie a straight swap? (assuming I purchase the correct spec replacement etc). Any advice welcome. Thanks.

You can do that, absolutely.

That is going to make for a big jump between the two rings. Also you're not getting (or going to get) much use out of that 46t ring. Might as well replace that with something you can use like a 42 or even 40.
