Need an inexspensive 57cm or 58cm frame to begin cx racing this year. Fathers day coming up may be last chance to get one before season starts.

Inexpensive is a very relative term. Do you have a price range in mind? It would help with any recommendations.
Really would prefer used frame about $200 and I like building bikes up so that is really why I want a frame
I have a Cannondale CAAD9 frame (their 56, top tube is 57, I ride a 58 road bike) that might fit the bill. It'd be more than $200 as I'd like to sell it as a frameset with the SI carbon (BB30) crankset and an Easton EC90X fork & headset. Other parts available if you want too... send me an email at jeff.moote AT gmail.com if you are interested.
I've just built a motobecane phantom cross for my bro. Frame is perfectly fine for a beginner and for trail/commute/do it all riding. bike island has it for 200 shipped with steel fork.
I am building my wife her first cross bike for road use (we'll see if she starts to get the bug for dirt riding). I got the Scattante XRL for $220 shipped with the sale + discounts at Performance.
These were the cheapest I could find for budget builds that were new. The only other way is to look daily for used frames/bikes locally and on ebay.
Hello, I have a 2008 Red Line Conquest Team with some extra parts that I will sell for $150.00 plus shipping. I can e-mail photos if you would like.
