Is there an official weight qualification for Athenas? While the consensus for the fellas (in OBRA-land) was right around 200 lbs or more, no one here could give me a definitive answer regarding the women.

Hi Beth! Hope you are doing well!!! I read the CX mag press release about this and it says the following...

..."Cyclocross gladiators weighing 200 pounds (1.428 Contadors) or more, and Athenas, female gladiators weighing 160 pounds (1.142 Contadors), or more, are eligible to enter the ring of battle..."

I don't know for sure if this is the "official" requirement or not, especially since here in Seattle we don't have a C'dale class in any of our cx series ( Not yet at least) I would guess thought that 160 would be it if there werw any offical catagory.

BTW I have had my boot off for about three weeks now and it has healed 100%!!! I am back riding again and it feels great! Later
Excellent news! That's a pretty straightforward recovery for something that was broken!
Hope to see you at some PDX races next season! Yay!
