Hey everyone,

I'm finishing up my build for cx season this year and I've been debating throwing on a ZIPP 300 crankset that I have laying around since it would shed quite a bit of weight off my bike, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. I'll be running SS so I'd be putting a 44T chainring and guard on instead of the 53/39 road setup. I can't use the crankset on my road/TT bikes because the spider is slightly warped (mfg defect) and it makes the chain rub my FD, but on a SS this wouldn't be an issue. My biggest concern is the fact that it's an ISIS BB and I've read that they aren't the best in terms of longevity, particularly in dirty conditions. Any thoughts?
