I am building a Crossbow and the other night I was bidding on some Sram Rival cranks setup for cross, after it got to a point where I thought it was to high I moved on and found a set of FSA Gossamer Compact Crankset 36-46T 110 172.5 which I bid on and won I got them for 50$ they are used but from the pictures I can not see any marks from use on the rings or anywhere else.

Just after I placed my bid I did a google search only to see a lot of negative reviews, now I am a little unsure if I should use them or not.
Has anyone else used these cranks?

Thanks

I bought two pairs of these also (1 silver & 1 black) on eBay and they were quite reasonable. I don't really see what problem an aluminum crankset can have except the weight. Time will tell.
ive raced 2 seasons on mine and have no complaints about them, decently stiff and nice for the price.
I uses the FSA's as well. The cranks are good but the included BB wears quick if you ride in mud & sand. Replacements are cheap and you can upgrade when it wears out.
Well so far it all seems to be a positive buy, point taken about the BB, I am planning on going with a King BB anyway.

Thank you for the imput
I've been using them for two years now and just put them on my new bike. Aside from being a little heavy they're great.
Have them on my road bike - no worries at all. Can't see what could be wrong with them except weight. That said, they were good enough for Cancellara at the tour a couple of years ago....

Cheers,
Steve
