That's right campers, if you have not heard, the Vail Valley Foundation purchased the TEVA MOUNTAIN GAMES from Untraditional marketing yesterday. Last year I was the Hill Climb (ROAD) race director and lobbied for bringing CX to the Teva Gamea after successfully promoting Cult Cross here in the Vail Valley last spring. Well, I got the call today, and it looks like cross is in for the 2009 Teva Games, this is not set in stone but it's looking REALLY good. I was able to walk the venue a few weeks ago before the snow starting flying at Vail and I have a vision for an outstanding course which will incorporate much of the other racing venues AND run through the streets of Vail Village, it could be just epic CX racing. Keep in mind this is all just conceptual at this point, but I'm going to make it happen, stay tuned for more details in the future. Looks like Cult Cross may turn into a training event for the Teva Games! There will surely be more info in the months to come on Addicted to Bicycles.

VERY IMPORTANT...We will of course be looking for Title Sponsors for the event, so please contact me if you are interested. Last year the games drew 35,000 fans and over 2000 athletes.

This was a three race SPRING CX series I promoted last year...it is on again this year, two races, at the Eagle, Colorado Fairgrounds. I've got one date secured and the other must be changed. I'll fill you in as soon as I get it squared away....enjoy the vids!

Here is the series blog site...
