Hi,

I am looking to build up a set of disc wheels.

Do I buy 130mm or 135 mm spacing disc hubs? Stan's disc cx wheels/ hubs are 135 as well as all mtb hubs. Phil Wood and possibly other brands are 130mm.

Some brands such as Reynolds don't list the spacing in their specs.

The question is: What is the industry standard for new disc ready framesets?

white industries also makes a 130 spaced disc hub but the real question is what frame do you have/are you getting? that will determine what spacing youll need.

I think Ridley is going with 135.  My redline is 130.  I think it will take one manufacturer to really grab the market share, and that will drive things one direction or the other.  Personally, I see chainstays getting wider on road bikes with newer wide tubular rim/tire combos.  For example, i have a teammate with a ridley road bike who barely fits firecrest rims in there with 22's mounted.

My bet is that at some point 135 will be standard, but I lose lots in vegas
