I'd like to get set of dry conditions clincher tires this summer to use on pavement and gravel, and then for the few dry races we may have in early fall.  I'm kind of drawn to the Clement LAS or the Conti Speeds.  Any experience with these as a general use tire for summer, or any other suggestions in a similar build that you really recommend?

Thanks!

I put 3500 miles on a set of Kenda small block eights, off road, on road rides, trails, gravel, cyclocross, bike camping, commuting etc... They are very fast on pavement, grip well on wet roots and rocks, and are great on hard pack, low grass. I was disappointed that the Conti speed kings were made in Taiwan and not Germany like my Conti road tires. I'm very easy on tires, and rarely ever flat. The kevlar bead shreddded on one of Speed kings in the first race on them.
