<p>Dan, a bit more info from my cobweb-cluttered brain: I remember IRC having their cross-country 27" and 700c tire available a long time ago - at least from the late 1980's and that tread was available for a while - prob past the late 90's.</p>

If I remember correctly, he bought them on blow-out from Nashbar at the time, which might mean they were a few years old already.…</p>
