For Sale: HED Kermesse tubulars - 2 sets for sale- PRICE DROP!
I pick up two sets of identical HED Kermesse wheelsets here locally in MN last winter from a colleague who raced them one season and keeps his stuff in fantastic condition. They are about 2 years old now and were originally a custom deal with HED (local company) for his local cycling team. They are not the HED C2 rims but are close in width at 21mm. I don't believe the wider rims matter as much with tubulars. I was planning to use one set as muds and the other set up for dry conditions. However, I ran across a great deal for carbon wheels I cannot pass up so these will have to go.
Pics 1-3 are a set without a freewheel and have some glue residue on them. A shimano/sram freehub can be purchased for about $60 bucks.

Pics 4-6 are the set with a new shimano/sram freehub with mounted new Challenge Fangos (32mm) that have been aquasealed.

I can weigh them this evening but if I had to guess I would say 1450 g.

Just weighed them. Just under 1200 grams without free hub or cassette. So add the freehub and you are looking at about 1400 grams The other set with glued Fangos and free hub is 2300 grams.
They are pretty light for aluminum tubies.
