Hi Folks

I may have the dubious distinction of being the first person to destroy a Campagnolo CX crankset.

The upside to this for you is that I now have two new, unused, CX11 chainrings for you to run on your Campy compact cranks.  Excel sports lists the 10speed versions of these chainrings (possibly identical?) at $60 for a 36t and $125 for a 46t. How about $50 and $100 for mine, shipped? I will also accept offers for both, to your advantage.

Thanks

Alex Mouton

[drooling]  Man I hate being broke.

How, what, when, and where did you break the crankset?  Alloy or Carbon?

The cranks were alloy. I was using some crusty pedals on the first day I ran them, and the drive side pedal managed to unscrew to the point that I corked a bunch of threads out of the arm.  My LBS were brave and put a helicoil in the crank arm for me but did the drilling on the bike (as they didnt have the automotive-level bearing puller required to remove the cranks) and the helicoil went in crooked as a result. I was playing it fast and loose, hurrying to get the bike together for early season racing, so I don't fault them for it.

what kind of miles on these rings? If still available would you take $125 shipped to Cincinnati Ohio?

They're still available.  These are the new unused rings off the cranks I bought as a replacement.  They bear no bad juju!  email me at thomas.mouton@gmail.com and I'll have them in the mail for you asap.
