I live in Arizona and CX season takes place during a season that is usually relatively dry. A lot of our courses are dry, sandy hardpack, but the turns get chewed up and resemble loose kitty litter. What's a good set of (clincher) tires, or combination of tires for these conditions? Something that rolls fast on hardpack and grass but with significant side blocks to keep the tires, especially the front, from washing out in the turns.
Oh yeah...I'd like them to be 35 -38mm

But for the size, I'd say Clement MXP. Kitty litter is tough, but they're very versatile tires.
