How to find deleted pictures and videos on Vista

Hi,

How to you find the cache of deleted pictures and videos on Vista? I know on XP there was always a folder that had old pictures even when you deleted them or when you simply downloaded/viewed them on email. I'm assuming Vista has this same type of folder but I can't find it anywhere.
Please help.
