I'm thinking of buying an IRO Rob Roy s/s 'Cross (frame), a very few of which have been imported here to the UK.

I'd never heard of them before last week, but I understand they are fabricated in the Far East to a design by a chap based in PA, USA? - in fact I found the website but it's one of those ones with lots of funky graphic content - but little real content... (and no response to an email I sent 4 days ago).

Anyone know anything else? - I know they're cromo frames, are they butted? what weight? anyone have any user opinions?

Cheers,

My brother in law has an IRO. Well made, heavy but not too bad for a steel frame at that pricepoint. If you want a direct opinion, send me a PM or an e-mail and I can put you in touch with him.
