Keukenhof bike rental

Hi,

We will be taking the train from the airport with the combi ticket and plan to arrive to Keukenhof by 9am. Would it be best to rent bikes to see the surrounding fields first, or visit the gardens first and bike later in the afternoon? We are planning a mid April visit. Also, is there a picking farm where we can get into the fields anywhere close along the bike path?

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
