more cowbell

I have some small cowbells I ring at races. I'm planning on going to nats in Jan. I'm making a very large stainless cowbell to ring and cheer on the racers. Would a big loud bell be too obnoxious or encouraged? It's 21" tall and 14" wide at the base and weighs 15 lbs.
