I'm an armchair Cx fan but have been for awhile.  Why do the pro events race on 2 days?  Do the second days hold as many points or prize money?  Can someone explain a pros perspective or approach?----- Thanks & Ride On          Cheers Andy

In a two day race they are separate races and not linked together.  If it is a UCI race frequently one of the days will be cagtagorized as C1 and the other is C2.  C1 races have more points and prize money.  Pro riders will often attempt to win both days, but the C1 day is more important.  The points are important because it determines your starting spot which is very important at world cup events and the world championships.
