<p>We've had great luck with the Specialized Captain cyclocross clincher run tubeless on different rims, and I'm not sure it was 2bliss ready. I think part of the problem might be the narrow Mavic Open Pro rim - definitely not a conversion favorite around here. At your weight, 40 psi doesn't sound that high, depending on course and riding style.</p>
