I think there are some that press into the BB30 shell BUT I hear once done you are committed to 24mm cranks for the life of your frame. <p>I'm not especially unhappy with the current crankset, but I've got a Red crank on my road bike and it's the one component where I'm noticing a difference between a mediocre part and something a bit nicer. The Red crank on my roadbike is much stiffer and just feels better in general. Again though I just want to make sure I get all the right parts when I do upgrade...</p>

I have a BB30 Van Dessel and am looking forward to the range of Chris King bottom brackets that will be released at the beginning of 2013. BB30 bearings wear out super fast and I hope King's will be better.<br />
