Greetings 'Crossers,

I was looking to do a weekend of 'cross racing in Colorado (Boulder, Fort Collins, etc.) and will be coming from warm and sunny SoCal.

I'd like to experience other venues (and perhaps some inclimate weather) in preparation for Nationals. Just want to race, have fun, and meet other 'crossers so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

And if you plan on coming to SoCal, let me know.

Thanks. Rockin1Cog

the UCI weekend is always on Halloween and never disappoints!
I've heard good things about the Blue Sky Velo Cup:

Check out the ACA website:

Frisco week end is always good. Oct 2/3
Boulder Cup Sun Oct 31
School Yard cross Nov 6 (inaugural race last year was great)

For the most part the races are fast and dry. Yes, there are times when there is rain, wind and later in the Fall snow. The competition in all the age categories is as good as you are going to find anywhere in the country.

If it is inclement weather that you are interested in you are better off going to POrtland, OR. Brad Ross puts on a great series and it is very good preparation for NAtionals. I do his race the week end before Nationals. Hope that helps you.
