i've got a pair of wheels where someone used tufo tubular tape and glue in the past. it's one sticky mess, and I'm looking for tips to make tape removal easier. hair dryer? soaking wheel in a vat of solvent (hopefully not). power drill with abrasive bit?

while set-up may be easier/faster, the resulting mess sure is difficult to deal with if you want to glue another set of tires.

I would probably say some rags, couple cans of goo-gone and some good music to pass the time. Cause it's going to take a while.
There's also brake cleaner spray cans available from auto stores. Brutal stuff, don't breathe too much it, but it works. At least on glue. Used to use it all the time a few years back.
