I bought this set of Reynolds Assault tubulars last year to try them out with CX tubulars, glued them up with new Challenge Grifo 34's, aquasealed the sidewalls, and raced them twice...in Arizona, no less.
No training rides on them, two races. Three hours of riding on them total.
In order to re-sell them I had the Grifo's professionally re-glued last week. None of this "well I glued them up last year, but they should be fine" BS.
So in order to have a set of rad race wheels, all you have to do is buy these, put a cassette on (shimano / sram), and dial them in on your bike.
