Wondering if anyone has experience rehabilitating a groin injury. I pulled mine doing some dismount drills last week, and I think it's a pretty good one- the kind that is uncomfortable sitting & lying down. I also feel pain where the groin attaches to the abdomen. 

I'm obviously not going to be doing any twisting/dismounting or running, but what about riding? I can't tell, weirdly enough, if it's irritating me or not. Anyone have thoughts?

Hi Lindsey,

I'd ice it quite a bit, and gently stretch when warmed up after a few days. I'm no doctor though. If it's that painful, take a few days off - it's early now, why risk the whole season with further injury?

I get this all the time early in the season. So I've finally learned to ease into it. I typically get it from doing too many mounts, not dismounts. The one benefit of step-throughs on high-speed straight-on barriers is that it's easier on the knee and groin on dismounts because you're not hitting the ground at a funky angle at speed. Of course, it's mostly gone out of style, but that's just my experience.
