Sidewall Tears in MXP

I'm now gashed two different MXP clinchers setup tubeless on Stans Iron Cross rims this week. One resealed and one was too big to reseal. Question: Has anyone else have similar issue or should I chalk it up to aggressive training and bad luck in some rocky areas?
