That is a good thought but my legs aren't thick enough that low to hold up the warmers. And it's all team issue clothing and we don't have knickers.

Have you tried to not overlap the bibs and the knee warmers? Just have them meet together but keep the silicone on the skin. Maybe go with knickers instead?
