By a pair do you mean 4 or 2.
Also how do they do with chadder.

It is a pair that is one front and one rear brake. As for chatter, it depends on how they are set-up. I ran them with an Easton ec90x and that worked great and didn't chatter. I cannot guarantee that they will not perform differently on another fork.
