Sram Hydro-Disk- Mechanics view?

I am not looking for a discussion on if Disks are right for cross or about the recall. I just want to know who has worked on these from a Mechanics viewpoint. I snapped one lever and had to replace it. The first bleed process wasnt too bad. Yes I know Shimano is "better" again thats not the point this is what I have. However now I am reworking the rear cable and cant get it to not have a leak or go wrong. Also has anyone had any luck getting that Connectamajig off??? I Swear I could not figure it out. Any tips (from anyone other than that idiot guy who just says switch to shimano or don't use disks in cross)Thanks.
