Anybody ever have troubles setting up Stan's CX/ Road rims with Michelin Mud Tires? Are they compatible? Im having trouble getting mine to pop into a sealed position even with an air compressor.

I ran this combination for two seasons. Getting it to set up initially was kind of a pain. Is the tire holding air but not seating on the rim? or is the air just blowing straight through?
If it's the later, try lubing up the bead area pretty good with soap and water. It should help it catch. If it still gives you trouble, put a layer of gorilla tape on the rim.
I also think Stan's now recommends using a rim strip if you're going to use a non-tubeless tire for a tubeless setup. I had much better luck with the Vittoria tubeless tires and I think kenda has some good options now. Personally I had enough issues with burping that I moved onto tubulars.
